I have been in the childcare field for at least six years or more now. Children need foundation where they can be themselves, make new friends, and start on their journey to success. There will be some hard times but there will also be easy times. Education is not one of those fields that an individual should enter into without full knowledge as to the needs of the children because at the end of the day that is what matters. Besides the relationship that the children will have with their parents they will have a understanding relationship with their teacher on certain issues. I talk to my students and determine what they may be experiencing and how I can help. Not all children will want to share information about things that they are experiencing because not everyone's opinion is good for the situation at hand. A student-teacher relationship can be established to a certain extent and without any extra incentives.

  1. You are definitely right! Education is NOT one of those fields that an individual should enter into lightly! You have to be committed and have a genuine passion for early childhood education and EVERYTHING that comes with it or you will "burn out".
