Marian Wright Edelman
"If you as parents cut corners, your children will too. If you lie, they will too. If you spend all your money on yourselves and tithe no portion of it for charities, colleges, churches, synagogues, and civic causes, your children won't either. And if parents snicker at racial and gender jokes, another generation will pass on the poison adults still have not had the courage to snuff out."
Marian Wright Edelman
"Know that being proactive is the single best thing that an educator can do to support children who have problem behavior. Being proactive means that you are acting in advance - before a problem occurs."
Ann Turnbull
"The passion to create a safer and more just world for all kids."
Louise Derman-Sparks

I agree with the the quote that begins with, "If you as parents cut corners, your children will too..." This is, also, true as an early childhood professional. If you aren't enthusiastic about the lessons you teach, then your students won't be either. The best way to teach is through modeling positive, healthy behavior.
